In its first month of operation in December 2006, it attracted more than 4.2 million visitors. And even to this day, throngs of people continue to line its aisles. Also known as Vivo City, it has became the most popular shopping centre in Singapore among locals and tourists. Shoppers' Paradise VivoCity has the best amenities designed with the avid shopper at heart. As any shopper will tell you, shopping is a tiring activity. Your legs are going to get tired from all that walking and stalking. And while other shopping centres offer a few seats or benches for you to rest every now and again, seating is limited and not very comfortable. Harbour Front Shopping At Vivo City, the tired shopper has choices. For one, there is a beautifully landscaped roof garden called Sky Park. It offers ample seating a panoramic view of the harbour front and Sentosa Island with fresh sea breeze to go with it. It also has a knee-deep shallow pool that's great for both adults and children to cool off and relax. Food Paradise The air-condition food court is located on the same level (level 3) so it's very convenient if you get hungry or thirsty. And for the food connoisseurs, VivoCity also has a wide range of international cuisine and restaurants serving French, Italian, Japanese, Taiwanese and local flair. Entertainment Paradise For those who want to take off their shoes, lean back and stretch out their legs in a more comfortable ambience, there is Golden Village Gold Class cinema experience. The Gold Class experience offers reclining lounge seats with full leg support and individual arm rests. And as if that wasn't enough, you also get a blanket to keep warm and side table to put your things.
